The wind pushing you over the waves, the board gliding over the surface of the water, the shore getting further and further away, and the feeling of freedom that grows as you take to the water.
These are the incredible emotions given by windsurfing, and you can experience them first-hand by learning to glide over the water thanks to a 2-hour lesson held by expert instructors in Tignale, on the Brescia side of Lake Garda.
You'll learn the basic windsurfing techniques, starting with studying the winds and ending with getting on the board and trying your first water starts. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is at the windsurfing school in Tignale (BS). The lesson will last 2 hours, will be held by an experienced instructor and carried out in mini-groups of a maximum of 4 participants, so that everyone can receive adequate assistance.
First, theequipment will be handed over and presented. Then we will move on to the theory part, which is of fundamental importance in a technical sport like windsurfing. Windsurfing, in fact, is like sailing a miniature sailboat; you need to know the wind rose and learn to recognise the directions of the currents.
After a smattering of theory, you will finally enter the water. On board an inflatable boat, together with the instructor, we will move away from the shore and try our first steps on the board, holding the sail and learning to hold the correct positions to gradually proceed with the gait.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and suitable for everyone from 8 years old and up. No previous experience or special skills are necessary.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
This activity is available from June to October, depending on instructor availability. During the low season, lessons are only available at weekends.
Windsurfing is an activity subject to weather and wind conditions. In the event of unsuitable conditions, the activity may be suspended or postponed. You will be notified by the instructor.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
