Did you know that Venice is part of an archipelago of over 100 islands? Many of these you won't see with the classic gondolas or vaporetto, but thanks to our daily boat hire you can explore them in total freedom, sailing through the lagoon like a real captain.
Take the helm of theCalipso boat , ideal for 8 people and equipped with every comfort, and explore the iconic islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello or venture into the calm waters of Sant'Erasmo. The best part? A boat licence is not required!
What we will do
The boat will be waiting for you from 9.00 am at the meeting point in Venice. On arrival, the staff will welcome you and explain in a briefing of about 30 minutes how to drive the boat, with a focus on the ZTL zones of the lagoon.
The Calypso, which is ideal for groups of up to 8 people, is equipped with all comforts: awning, large sundeck at both bow and stern, deck shower, dining table, stereo system, Wi-Fi, USB socket and towels for your convenience. Modern instrumentation includes GPS, depth sounder, and nautical charts to give you the best orientation.
You choose the itinerary: you can explore the Venice Lagoon to the colourful Murano, Burano and Torcello or explore the islands of Sant'Erasmo, Vignole, Certosa or Sant'Andrea, stopping wherever you like to sunbathe or take a swim in a hidden bay.
You will return the dinghy to the starting point at the end of the day, after about 8 hours of rental.
Who it is aimed at
A licence is not required to drive the boat, you only need to be at least 18 years old.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
Rental is available from April to September from 9 a.m. onwards .
Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid at the end of the excursion, according to consumption.
You may be asked to pay a deposit of up to €800 by credit card, which will be returned to you on your return.
Dogs are allowed on board; an extra fee of €30 for washing service will be charged on site.
