Get ready to paddle into a purple dream!
Discover Calabria's spectacular Costa Violaby canoe, so called because of the shades the sea takes on at particular times of day. Set off from Bagnara Calabra and explore, together with a guide , sea caves, rock arches and coves that can only be reached by sea, such as the uncontaminated Cala Janculla.
A 3-hour adventure amid nature and wonder!
What we will do
We will meet at the indicated time at the meeting point in Bagnara Calabra (RC).
We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure on the sea of Calabria! After a brief introductory briefing and the handover of equipment, we will begin our excursion along the spectacular Costa Viola, overlooking the Strait of Messina.
We will paddle between sheer cliffs, passing wild coves and sea caves where we can cast our eyes to admire their play of light. During the approximately 1 km route, we will also be able to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and admire from the sea the wonderful Cala Janculla, characterised by incredible biodiversity.
We will continue to a natural rock arch, and then reverse course and return to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 11; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Swimming skills are recommended.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 3 participants.
The facility has 2 double canoes and 4 single canoes, for a maximum of 8 participants.
There is a bar with toilets at the meeting point; no showers or changing rooms are available. The guide will carry a waterproof bag to store small personal belongings of the participants.
Itis not possible to participate with your own dog.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
