Are you looking for afun activity in contact with nature? If you love water, mountains and like to discover new and unspoilt places, canyoning is for you! But what exactly is it?
Canyoning is a practice of exploring river areas, particularly low-flow streams that flow through rocky gorges. You descend on foot following their course, wearing a wetsuit, helmet and harness to cross the most inaccessible spots. Depending on the characteristics of the route, you can abseil with a rope from high cliffs and swim some sections.
The most fun part? Dives into crystal-clear pools and toboggans, natural slides carved by the flow of water over the rock. If this is your first experience, canyoning in the Bagnone valley in Lunigiana is ideal. You will be guided by an expert instructor who will ensure that you have fun in complete safety.
What we will do
We will meet in Bagnone, in the province of Massa Carrara, where we will meet the guide who will accompany us in the activity and provide us with thenecessary equipment. After a briefing to learn the basic rules and move around safely, we will head for the starting point of the adventure, in the locality of Iera.
This is a fairly open canyon, which allows us to move nimbly between rock spurs, river boulders, water rivulets and wide crystal-clear pools. Although it is a low-difficulty route, numerous jumps and dives are possible. The more daring will be able to dive into the puddles from points up to 6 metres high, and when jumping is not possible, we will descend using ropes and carabiners, like real adventurers!
Not to be missed is the 4-metre toboggan, a natural slide that will make us all feel like children again! No obstacle is obligatory, there will always be a way around it via an easier route, and at any time we can rely on the guide to make the activity enjoyable, safe and fun for everyone.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is suitable as a first canyoning experience. The minimum age is 12 years and swimming skills are required.

Important! You can book any date from June to mid-September for groups of at least 6 participants. If you are alone or do not reach the minimum number, please contact us privately and we will let you know which dates are already scheduled for the activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
