Full description
Set sail with us on theEden 1971, a wonderful retro-style sailboat, for a full day of Mediterranean magic.
From Palermo, our experienced captain will take you to discover the beach of Vergine Maria, the village of Sferracavallo and the world-famous Mondello. You can dive into turquoise waters, relax on deck or on mats gently rocked by the waves and, towards the middle of the day, savour the authentic flavours of Sicily with a lunch of local specialities.

What we will do
Departure is at 10 a.m. from the port of Palermo. We will meet 15 minutes earlier with the captain and hostess, who will seat us on board theEden 1971, a splendid retro-style sailing boat that can accommodate up to 10 participants.
Having cast off the moorings, we will start sailing along the Palermo coast towards Vergine Maria, a seaside resort north of Palermo characterised by golden wet sand and turquoise waters. Once here, we will stop for a refreshing dip and enjoy a bathing break of about 45 minutes.
The second stop will be Sferracavallo, a charming seaside village renowned for its clear waters and lively marine life, where we will stop for another swim stop or to explore the marine wonders with some snorkelling. While sailing, we can enjoy the view, relax on deck or, why not, learn the secrets of sailing from the experienced captain.
Towards the middle of the day, we will enjoy a lunch of local specialities, which may vary depending on the time of day, accompanied by wine, water and soft drinks. We will savour the authentic tastes of Sicily while admiring the enchanting panorama.
In the afternoon we will continue to Mondello, one of Palermo's most famous beaches known for its white sand and transparent waters. Here we will stop for about 1 hour for another swim, sunbathe and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Mondello.
Before returning, we will make one last stop at the Grotte della Regina, a fascinating place steeped in history. The captain will tell you stories and legends about these sea caves, adding a touch of mystery to the tour.
Return to the port of departure is scheduled at 18.00, after about 8 hours of excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 4 years old and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
You will be on board the Eden 1971, a retro-style sailing boat 13.80 m long and 4.5 m wide. It is equipped with every comfort, including a sunbathing area, 2 WCs, a refrigerator, a kitchen area, a changing cabin, air conditioning, and a climbing ladder. Slippers and mattresses are available on board.
Dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting place is easily accessible by public transport.
