Full description

Cycle south along the Romagna Riviera towards the promontory of Monte San Bartolo and the village of Gabicce Monte, known as the'balcony of the Riviera'. Leave behind the city traffic and the hustle and bustle of the crowded lidos to dive into the tranquillity of nature.

Discover agreen oasis just a few kilometres from the beaches of Rimini and Riccione. The Monte San Bartolo natural regional park holds enchanting surprises and magnificent views of the Adriatic Sea, which in that stretch, on the border between Marche and Emilia Romagna, is tinged with ultra-bright colours!

Hills covered in Mediterranean vegetation, paths immersed in unspoilt nature, white cliffs plunging into the deep blue sea are just part of all that you will enjoy pedalling in peace on our pedal-assisted e-bikes.

What we will do

We will meet up around 10 a.m . in Portoverde (Misano Adriatico). We will meet the guide and the rest of the group (maximum 12 participants) and we will be given our e-bikes. After a short briefing on the route, safety regulations and the use of e-bikes, we will set off on our e-bike excursion to the Monte San Bartolo nature park.

We will discover aprotected area on the border between Emilia Romagna and the Marches, agreen oasis containing unspoilt nature, paths through Mediterranean vegetation and wonderful views of the sea. The promontory of Monte San Bartolo also features numerous sea caves and impressive white cliffs, a rarity for the northern Adriatic coastline.

The first stop on our e-bike tour will be Gabicce Monte, a delightful village perched on a rocky spur 150 metres above sea level. From there we will ride into the natural park to explore it through its paths and enjoy the coolness of the trees. Then we will make a relaxing stop at the beautiful Vallugola Bay, where we can cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear waters.

We will depart in the direction of Casteldimezzo, a village suspended between the sky and the sea - as its name suggests - and Fiorenzuola di Focara, another locality overlooking the coast. Here we will stop for an excellent fish lunch (lunch is not included in the participation fee; alternatively, it is possible to have a packed meal) and then mount our e-bikes again and pedal along the return route, during which there will be no lack of relaxing stops, photographic pit stops, and perhaps a few dips, if the season permits!

The activity lasts about 5 hours for a total distance of 45 km, which is also suitable for the less well-trained thanks to the possibility of activating assisted pedalling.
