Full description
Venice offers much more than just the city. Venice's historic centre is world-famous for its extraordinary beauty, but the surrounding lagoon has just as many wonders to discover.
A 2-hour boat rental is the best way to visit the Venice Lagoon and admire its colourful islands, lush gardens, historic buildings and wonderful views along the canals and sandbanks.
Our environmentally friendly electric boats are easy to manoeuvre even for the inexperienced, do not require a licence and the GPS system will easily show you the route.
What we will do
The rental point is located on theCertosa Island dock. To get there you can use the vaporetto 4.2 (remember that the Certosa stop is on request, you will have to indicate this when you get on board).
Before departing, we will provide you with all the necessary instructions for using the boat: it is a characteristic Venetian wooden topetta, 6.5 metres long and with a 6 horsepower engine; it is equipped with a sunshade awning and GPS. There will be no need for a guide on board because our boats are very easy to manoeuvre even without a licence. All you have to do is get on board and go!
You will have 2 hours to navigate in the Venice Lagoon, without crossing the boundary of the open waters or entering the canals of the historic centre (everything will be precisely signposted on the navigation system). You'll sail along the Lido di Venezia, with its characteristic domes; you'll sail around the islands of Sant'Erasmo and Vignole, full of lush vegetable gardens and vineyards; you'll catch a glimpse of the tower of the Torcello Basilica, the oldest in the lagoon; and finally you'll approach Burano, with its colourful, world-famous houses.
And if you prefer to enjoy sailing, you can request the presence of a skipper on board by selecting the'charter with skipper' option when booking.
At the end of the excursion, you will have to return the boat to the rental point on Certosa Island.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is also suitable for those who have never had experience in driving a boat. Remember that you must be at least 18 years old to drive a boat.

This activity can be booked from April to November.
The participation fee includes exclusive boat hire for a maximum of 6 participants.
It is possible to leave all valuables in special boxes at the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
