Full description

The thrill of a helicopter flight and the adrenaline rush of an off-piste descent: that'sheli-skiing!

Do you want to get the most out of your experience? Then theprivate excursion is for you! You will have thehelicopter available exclusively for your group: up to 4 people plus the mountain guide who will follow you throughout the morning.

What awaits you? A magnificent ski tour in fresh snow using thehelicopter for the ascent to enjoy freeriding at its best: all immersed in the breathtaking scenery of Sestriere and Val di Susa, in the province of Turin.

And if you're never tired of experiencing thrills, double the fun and adrenaline by choosing 2 descents at the time of booking.

What we will do

The meeting with the Alpine Guide is set for 9:00 a.m. at the Sestriere base. From here you will be accompanied to theSauze d'Oulx heliport where you will be given your safety kit (ABS backpack, shovel, probe and ARTVA). First you will be given a briefing on the rules of behaviour and safety, then you will be ready to set off.

Some of the most famous routes start from Monte Terra Nera (3,100 m), Punta Ramiere (3,300 m), Punta Tre Merli (3,250 m) or Punta Marin (3,200 m). The Alpine Guide will select thebest route according to snow conditions and your level of experience.

In approximately 10 minutes of helicopter flight, you will reach your chosen peak. Once landed, after the usual photos and videos, you will prepare for the descent down the snow-covered slopes, over endless expanses of fresh snow.

Usually, the descent takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in the valley, if the adrenalin rush has not yet been enough, you can hop back into the helicopter for another round! In this case, you will have to choose the 2-descent option when booking.

At the end of the experience, a mini-bus will take you back to the initial meeting point. The experience will last approximately 3 hours (variable depending on the option and route chosen).

Who it is aimed at

This activity is aimed at skiers or snowboarders who have good technique and some freeride experience. The recommended technical level for heliskiing is an International Level 3 on piste. Participation is possible from the age of 18.
