Close to Matera there is another little Matera. It is called Ginosa and hides a special world to be discovered in the company of the whole family!
Come for a 4-hour experience on an educational farm and rediscover the pleasure of authentic contact with nature.
Get ready to become a child again among donkeys, horses, rabbits, chickens and an unmissable cheese workshop!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ginosa (TA). We will be welcomed by our guide, ready to take us on a tour of the farm.
During our visit we will be able to fully experience the world of the farm, learning its curiosities and secrets. Not only that! We will taste some typical, zero-kilometre products: wine, cured meats, craft beer... a riot of flavours to make our experience even more special!
To the delight of the little ones, there is aplay area inside the farm; the older ones, on the other hand, will certainly appreciate the Gravina di Ginosa and the stretch of the Cammino Materano, which they will be able to walk along freely during the visit.
By selecting the 'with cheese-making workshop' option, we will have access to a further moment of wonder: we will delve into the history and local traditions thanks to a journey through the area's cheese production. We will discover the path of milk to become cheese and, finally, we will taste the finished product straight away!
The experience will last a total of around 4 hours.
