What do your children dream of becoming when they grow up? Feed their ambitions and let them discover the world of falconry!
At Castel Volturno, in the province of Caserta, they will be able to transform themselves into little falconers for a day and get to know wonderful birds of prey such as the Anacleto and Alaska owls.
Between curiosities, glove christening and a packed snack, they will experience an hour of magic and light-heartedness!
What we will do
The meeting will take place 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking in Castel Volturno (CE).
On arrival, children will be welcomed by the falconer, who will introduce them to the world of birds of prey in an educational and entertaining way. The experience will begin with a moment of discovery, in which the little ones will be able to get to know the day's protagonists up close, such as theIndian Scops Owl, the African Owl Anacleto and the Alaskan Virginia Owl.
Through engaging stories and simple explanations, the children will learn to recognise the main characteristics of each bird of prey, discovering their role in the environment and their habits.
They will also be able to touch the tools used by the falconer in his trade, such as the falconry glove, laces, getos and perches. The most exciting part will be the direct interaction with the birds of prey: the children will be able to put on the glove and hold a bird of prey on their arm. A truly magical encounter!
After so much excitement, it will be time to recharge your batteries with a packed snack of juice or milk and a packaged cake. Not forgetting thecertificate of participation, a nice souvenir that the children can take home with them!
The experience will last a total of 40 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at children aged 3 to 10 years. Children must be accompanied on site by an adult, but can participate in the experience on their own.
People in wheelchairs can participate in this activity: please inform the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for organisational reasons.
