Full description

Learn to ski off-piste together with an Alpine Guide on the best freeride routes in the Trentino Dolomites, from Passo del Tonale to Val di Fassa.

If you already know how to ski but are looking for even more excitement, adrenaline and freedom, the fresh powder snow will not disappoint!

During this introductory day, you will learn the basic techniques to handle yourself away from the groomed slopes and raise the bar of skiing fun!

What we will do

The meeting with the Alpine Guide will take place at 7.30 a.m. in Arco (TN ) or directly at the location chosen for the freeride day (to be agreed upon after booking). The Trentino Dolomites offer countless itineraries for off-piste enthusiasts of all levels. The guide will choose the most suitable route according to the group's level and weather conditions.

In small groups of a maximum of 4 participants, we will learn how to assess snow conditions and how to use the safety kit (probe, shovel and artva). Next, the guide will teach us the technique of ascending with skins, which will come in handy when there are no lifts.

Then it's off to the descent! We will learn the best off-piste descent techniques in order to enjoy theadrenaline rush to the maximum, while remaining as safe as possible.

During the day we will alternate theory and practice, stopping to recover energy when necessary.

The activity will last a total of about 7 hours and will end with the return to the initial meeting point.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is open to everyone, skiers and snowboarders alike, with the only requirement being the ability to confidently tackle blue slopes. No previous freeriding experience is required. You can participate from 16 years of age.
