Enjoy a sailing trip off the coast of Ostia and take the opportunity to fish in the company of an experienced captain who will help you improve your technique and give you valuable advice.
Spend a few hours in total relaxation, let yourself be lulled by the waves and experience the magical atmosphere of the sea while sailing with the wind and practising sport fishing.
Not a fishing enthusiast? No problem, this excursion is also open to the curious. Maybe while watching the captain, you too will feel like casting a hook!
What we will do
We will meet at the Ostia marina where we will meet the Captain and the other participants. After a short introductory briefing, we will board the sailboat, ready to cast off our moorings.
We will let the wind push us out to sea and when we are far enough from the coast we will try fishing, using our personal equipment or the equipment provided, which is included in the participation fee.
The captain will give us tips and advice on how to improve our fishing techniques and we will spend a few hours relaxing and carefree. During the excursion we can take the opportunity to take a few dips and sunbathe on the boat.
In total, the activity will last about five hours.

The activity can be booked all year round (except July and August) and will be confirmed when there are at least 2 participants, weather permitting.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
