Scenic ultralight flight over Lake Orta

A small jewel set between woods and mountains: Lake Orta conquers at first glance. Experience the thrill of flying over it in a small tourist aircraft on a 60-minute scenic flight with an experienced pilot.

Admire from above theIsland of San Giulio in the centre of the lake and the picturesque villages surrounding its shores. Thanks to the special design of the aircraft used, a MAULE MXT-7, you will enjoy an unobstructed view and take many beautiful photographs.

You will also have the opportunity to visit our flight school and discover many interesting facts about the world of aviation. We are waiting for you!

What we will do

The appointment is atCasale Monferrato airport at the time chosen during the booking process. On your arrival we will have a coffee together and take you on a guided tour of our flight school. We will visit thehangar with the fleet of aircraft and you will get to know the staff at work.

We will then proceed to the trainee classroom, where we will fill out the aggregate forms and give a detailed explanation of flying, explaining safety procedures and how to behave on board the ultralight.

After the pilot's final instructions on boarding , we will be ready to lift off from the runway aboard our Maule MXT-7, a high-wing aircraft that will allow us to enjoy an unobstructed and complete view of the landscape below.

Rising from the runway below us, we will fly in the direction of Lake Orta, a gem set between the green Alps and the vast hilly forests. We will admire the shores of this glacial lake located between the provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, flying over theIsland of San Giulio and other characteristic villages, such as Orta San Giulio, Pella and Omegna.

During our flight, which will last about an hour, you will be able to take photographs and videos to document the romantic landscapes from above. At the end of the activity, we will return to Casale Monferrato and, once we have landed, we will give all participants a flight certificate.

The total duration of the activity is 2 and a half hours, of which 60 minutes of flight time.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is open to all, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult who must present themselves at the venue with proof of identity and sign a release form.

Anyone who is in good health, less than 1.95 m tall and weighs less than 110 kg may fly.

Other information

The experience is available daily from sunrise to sunset.

The vehicle that will accompany you on the experience is a Maule MXT-7 aircraft, which can accommodate up to three passengers in addition to the pilot.

Both on the ground and in the air, it is possible to take photos and video footage, without limitations. If you prefer a video of the experience with internal and external multi-camera, on the ground and in the air, with final editing, you can choose to purchase the'flight + video' option when booking. The video will be sent to you via WeTransfer within 5/7 working days.

At the facility there is a relaxation area, an internal shop for purchasing aviation-themed gadgets, toilets, and a visitors' area where any accompanying persons will be entertained by the staff. The ground-floor facility is accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.

Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash in the designated areas.
