Get ready to admire the green heart of Italy from above and experience one of the greatest sensations there is: that of flying!
A tandem paragliding flight is a unique experience that promises one thrill after another. Between the amazing take-off and the soft landing, you will enjoy an unprecedented panoramic spectacle!
You will fly over Gubbio, one of the most evocative medieval villages in Italy, a real pearl of history and culture, set in the green Umbrian woods and hills.
You will reach the take-off point via a half-hour trek that will prepare you for contact with nature and the experience of flying. All the rest... will be a beautiful story to tell!
What we will do
We will meet the pilot in Sigillo (PG ) and together with him we will move to Gubbio, about 30 minutes away by car. Should we prefer to meet directly at the launch site, the pilot himself will inform us of the exact address, once it has been decided according to the wind conditions.
Once in Gubbio, we will reach the take-off point on high ground via a trekking route of about half an hour through the woods surrounding the town. The walk will be uphill and will allow us to cross uncontaminated areas, coming into contact with nature and the fauna that populates the undergrowth.
The paragliding flight is preceded by a preparation briefing, in which the pilot will instruct us on the most correct behaviour to enjoy the experience in maximum comfort and safety. After that, it will be time to harness up and attach ourselves to the pilot, ready for take-off!
A little downhill run, a jump and... we're in the sky! Harnessing the updrafts of the wind, the pilot will take us aloft to watch the earth get smaller and smaller before our eyes.
For the duration of the flight - 15 to 30 minutes depending on the winds - we will admire the amazing views of theUmbrian Apennines, characterised by acres of lush nature and ancient villages of unquestionable charm.
Afterlanding, which will take place gently on level ground, we will already be looking forward to our departure! Between transfers, briefing, preparation and flight, the total duration of the activity is approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in a tandem paraglider does not require any special physical or technical skills or previous experience, only good mental and physical condition. Flying is open to people aged 7 years and over and weighing between 30 and 90 kg.

Attention. You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.
Important: Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. If it is not possible to fly to Gubbio on the day you have booked, the pilot may suggest you fly to other Umbrian locations. The day before the flight, you will receive a communication from the pilot informing you of the activity, also giving you confirmation of the time, flight area and meeting address.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
