Full description
Experience the thrill of an extraordinary open-air flight over Mont Blanc by launching yourself on a tandem paraglider from Punta Helbronner, at an altitude of over 3,000 metres .
Enjoy the breathtaking view of Europe's highest peaks and get ready for a high-adrenaline experience: you will fly with the updrafts across glaciers and rocky ridges to a soft landing on snow.
What we will do
We will meet the pilot at 8:30 a.m. at the entrance to the SkyWay gondola in Courmayeur (AO), and we will climb up to Punta Helbronner, stopping near the Rifugio Torino (3,375 m), from where we will take off.
We will prepare for the flight with a detailed briefing on how the paraglider works and all the rules of behaviour for flying in peace and safety. Then we will put on our helmets andharnesses and, firmly attached to the pilot, we will be ready for the exciting moment of take-off.
All it takes is a short run-up and we will literally dive into the sky, relying on the updrafts that will guide the paraglider's descent between the ridges of the 'white giant'. The mountains will appear to us from above in all their majesty, offering us an unforgettable panoramic spectacle and an unparalleled sense of freedom!
We will fly over the Brenva glacier, one of the largest in Europe with its 7 km extension, and the waterfalls from where the Dora Baltea rises. The flight will cover about 2,200 m of altitude difference and will last about 20 minutes, depending on the winds of the day, ending with a soft landing near the Hobo Val Veny campsite.
In total, the experience will last about 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach. All you need is to be in good physical condition and able to make a short run. You can fly from the age of 14 and up and with a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from June to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the scheduled date, the pilot will confirm the time and course after checking the latest weather report.
You can, on request, use the GoPro provided by the pilot by bringing your own SD card free of charge.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
