If you are looking for aunique and unforgettable experience, an emotion so intense that it will leave you speechless, a paragliding flight over Mount Subasio is for you!
Taking off from the slopes of the mountain, you will fly over the rolling Umbrian hills, through dense forests, unspoilt nature and historic villages such as Assisi and Spello.
Flying tandem with an experienced pilot, you will have no worries except to admire the panoramic spectacle and enjoy the enormous feeling of freedom that only those who dare to take their feet off the ground know!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Sigillo (PG ) and together you will go to the location where the flight will take place, about an hour's drive away (if you prefer, the meeting can take place directly in the flight area, in which case the address will be given to you after the pilot has established the precise spot according to the wind conditions).
Once you reach the take-off point, you will have a preparation briefing in which you will be explained the operating principles of paragliding and all the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety. Then, with yourharness on and securely attached to the pilot, it will be time to take off!
All it takes is a few steps downhill, a gentle jog, and in no time you will find yourself suspended in the air! At that point, the flight of the paraglider will be entrusted to the updrafts, which will sustain the descent all the way to the soft landing.
For the duration of the flight - 15 to 30 minutes depending on the currents - you will be immersed in the beautiful landscapes of Mount Subasio, and if the wind blows in the right direction, you will be able to fly over Assisi, with its churches, monasteries and charming historic centre.
Between transfers, briefing, preparation and flight, the total duration of the activity is about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Paragliding is an experience suitable for everyone. It does not require any specific skills or previous experience, only a good mental and physical condition. You can fly from 7 years of age and with a body weight between 30 and 90 kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.
Important: Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. If it is not possible to fly over Mount Subasio on the day you have booked, the pilot may suggest you fly to other Umbrian locations. The day before the flight, you will receive a communication from the pilot informing you of the activity, also giving you confirmation of the time, flight area, and meeting address.
Simultaneous flying is possible for up to 3 participants.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
