Tandem paragliding flight over the hills of Tivoli

Flying a paraglider is a unique and unrepeatable experience, allowing you to admire the world from the same perspective as an eagle. You will feel like a true ruler of the skies!

You will observe enchanting landscapes and breathtaking natural beauty from above. The plateau of Tivoli, just a few kilometres from Rome, with its verdant hills and ancient imperial vestiges is ready to unfold before your eyes.

Aboard a tandem tandem paraglider, flying together with an expert instructor, you will safely experience the fantastic sensation of floating in the air, taking advantage of the ascending currents. All you have to do is enjoy the show!

What we will do

We will meet at the take-off area in Tivoli (RM), where we will meet theinstructor with whom we will fly. We will first conduct a detailed briefing on how the paraglider works and the rules of conduct to be followed during the activity. When we are well harnessed and ready, off we go!

The take-off will be along a gentle descent on a hilly stretch. It will only take a few running steps and a jump to soar through the air supported by the updrafts, free and eager to discover all that nature has to offer.

During the flight, lasting about 20 minutes, we will fly over some of the points of interest, natural or man-made, that the Tivoli plateau hosts: patrician residences, Renaissance villas, monuments from the Roman era, the woods and the Aniene waterfalls. An exciting experience, framed by an unforgettable panorama.

The more courageous will be able to ask the pilot to manoeuvre the paraglider, or try some aerial acrobatics to complete the experience with the right adrenalin rush!

We will gradually descend in altitude until we softly touch the ground. At the end of the flight we will reach the initial take-off point.

Considering travel and preparation time, the activity will last a total of about 1.5 hours, including 20 minutes of actual paragliding flight.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level. No special physical preparation is required.

Anyone who is in good health, weighs between 45 and 95 kg and is at least 16 years old may fly. Written permission signed by parents is required for minors.

Other information

Attention. It is necessary to arrive at the meeting place at least 30 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.

The activity can be booked every day from April to August in the afternoon to take advantage of the best wind conditions.

You can bring your GoPro to film the flight or buy the video made by the pilot (filming, editing and photos) for 30€, to be paid on site.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
