They say that if you experience the thrill of flying, you can't do without it!
Try it for yourself with our tandem paraglider flight near Pisa: take flight with an experienced pilot and enjoy observing the world from above for 15 minutes. You will see the coastline between Viareggio and Livorno and admire the walls of Lucca.
It will be an unforgettable experience, allowing you to appreciate the Tuscan landscape from a unique perspective !
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Orzignano (PI), where our pilot will be waiting for us. After the welcome, we will board the pilot's car and reach the take-off point in about 10 minutes. On the way, we will pass in front of the landing point, where we will stop for a few moments to take a look at the area and, if we are lucky, see some other paragliders landing!
Once at the take-off point, we will have a briefing of about five minutes with the pilot, who will explain how the experience will unfold and hand over thenecessary equipment. Then, firmly harnessed to him, we will take a short run-up and take off: we will fly for about 15 minutes over the magnificent province of Pisa, enjoying the thrill and adrenaline of observing the world from above.
As we take to the skies, we will see Marina di Pisa, the coastline joining Viareggio and Livorno , and Pisa Cathedral. In addition, we will be able to admire the city of Lucca and its surrounding walls, the magnificent Monti Pisani and Lake Massaciuccoli, surrounded by the Migliarino Natural Park. If conditions permit, we can take the controls of the paraglider , transforming ourselves into pilots for a few moments!
At the end of the experience, we will slowly descend in altitude and listen to the pilot's advice in view of thelanding, which will be simple and gentle. To allow us to remember this adventure, in the following days we will receive a video of our flight shot with a GoPro.
The activity, which will end with the transfer to the meeting point, will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
A weight between 30 and 120 kg is required to participate.
Other information
Caution! Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity. The pilot will contact you 1 day in advance to confirm the feasibility of the flight. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, the take-off point may be moved to the province of Lucca.
The activity is available all year round.
Free parking is available nearby. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
