Tandem paragliding flight in Tivoli

What we will do

The rendezvous is near Tivoli, in the province of Rome. Here we will meet the pilot and, with our cars, we will drive to the take-off point. Alternatively, a pick-up service is available at the accommodation or hotel (not included in the participation fee).

Onceat the take-off point, we will conduct a briefing on the activity and safety regulations. Afterwards, having donned the equipment, we will prepare to take off. Firmly harnessed together with the professional pilot, we will take a few tentative steps and, before we know it, we will be floating in the air.

Buoyed by the ascending currents, we will experience a feeling of absolute freedom, enjoying the breathtaking panorama below us, from Tivoli and Villa d'Este to the Tyrrhenian Sea. After a flight of about 15-20 minutes, we will land gently on the ground.

Thetotal duration of the activity, including transfer to the take-off point, flight and return to the starting point, is approximately one and a half to two hours. This could be longer if the pilot chooses a different take-off point due to weather conditions.

Who it is aimed at

The activity requires a minimum age of 8 years. You must also weigh between 40 kg and 120 kg.

Important: unaccompanied minors must present a written consent signed by their parents. If not presented, it will not be possible to take part in the activity and the activity will not be reimbursed.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes before the agreed time.

Paragliding is an activity that is closely linked toweather and windconditions . The day before the scheduled date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation of the flight feasibility, time and location. You will be able to express your preference on the flight area and possibly agree on another date with the pilot in case you are unable to fly.

The activity can be booked from May to September given the exposure to the Capitoline breeze.

Transport to take-off will be organised as required with the pilot's or participants' own means. Pick-up at accommodation or hotel is available at anextra cost of €1 per km and is to be paid on site. If you wish to book the pick-up, please contact the pilot after the booking confirmation.
