Spend a fun day in the snow discovering the wilder side of Bardonecchia and, skis or snowboard on your feet, get ready to experience one thrill after another!
Together with an expert guide, you'll tackle some of the many freeride itineraries in the ski resort, choosing the variant most suited to your level.
Along with theadrenaline of the descents, you will take home the technical advice of the instructor and the wonder of the snow-covered Alpine landscapes. Ready to go?
What we will do
We will meet the guide in Bardonecchia at around 9:00 am and together we will head by ski lift to the point chosen for thefreeride excursion.
The ski resort of Bardonecchia offers various possibilities for freeriding on skis or a snowboard. It is up to the instructor to choose the route to take, depending on the level of the participants and the snow conditions. The possibilities will be as follows:
Valfredda: one of the most beautiful and wildest valleys in Val di Susa, reachable in about 10 minutes on skis and with many different routes to choose from.
Barracks 16: this itinerary is located in the Melezet area and offers a sensational descent, first on open slopes and then in the forest to seek out the glades with the softest, fluffiest snow, in the presence of the Punta Charrà.
Col des Acles: a popular destination for summer hikers for its fairytale landscape, in winter it turns into a beautiful location for off-piste skiing, where the snow is almost always fresh and powdery.
At the end of the hike, we can end on a high note with a typical Sinoira snack (not included in the participation fee). The excursion lasts between 4 and 5 hours, depending on the route chosen and the level of participants.

This activity is at an intermediate level and open to all skiers or snowboarders who are familiar with off-piste skiing.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity can be booked throughout the ski season, subject to guide availability and favourable weather conditions. It will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants (4 in high season).
Snowboard equipment and safety kit are not included in the participation fee and can be hired in one of the local shops, taking advantage of special prices (ask the instructor after booking the activity).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
