Spend awhole day on a 40 HP Honda-powered boat, which you can also drive without a licence, and enjoy the sea and sun of Tropea and the beautiful Costa degli Dei in Calabria.
The beautiful coastline and picturesque town will provide the backdrop for a special adventure to discover one of the most beautiful and popular tourist destinations in southern Italy, thanks to the freedom offered by chartering.
Departing from the port of Tropea, you can visit Isola Bella and the Grotta degli Innamorati, explore the surroundings of the seaside town, and enjoy long relaxing swims in the company of your fellow travellers. Get ready to go!
What we will do
We will meet you at the port of Tropea, on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, where your charter boat will be available from 9:00 am. We advise you to arrive 15 minutes early to complete the paperwork for your charter.
Before leaving the boat in your hands, we will give a briefing to explain safety regulations and the main manoeuvres. We will also give you some tips on where to go via an interactive map.
Then you will leave the harbour on your 5.70-metre boat, with a 40-hp Honda engine, super-equipped for a journey of relaxation and discovery. Up to 6 passengers will be able to board, ideal for a group of friends or a family.
You will have the freedom to plan your itinerary by choosing from the most beautiful destinations along the Coast of the Gods. According to legends, ancient gods chose this stretch of coastline as their home, enchanted by its scenic beauty. We recommend, for instance, exploring Isola Bella and the Grotta degli Innamorati, the Grotta dello Scheletro, the Riaci canyon and the Cascata dei Pirati.
You can take a swim at Praja del Fuoco, a fantastic beach among the inlets of the Capo Vaticano promontory, or swim in the crystal-clear waters of Grotticelle.
The boat will be returned by 18:00 hours. The rental will last 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Thereis no minimum age requirement for passengers on board. You must be 18 years old to drive the boat. You do not need a licence, but experience in driving a boat is preferable.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Rental is available from April to October, every day, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The boat available for hire is a 5.70-metre motor boat with a 40 HP Honda engine, approved for 6 persons. On board you will find a stainless steel awning, Bluetooth radio, picnic table, large bow sundeck, GPS, ladder for easy descent into the water, interactive map with QR code, life jackets for children, and safety equipment. The boat is sanitised according to Covid safety protocols.
It is possible to take dogs on board, but only small to medium-sized ones up to 30 kg.
When booking, you can choose between a 'without skipper' charter to drive the boat yourself or a 'with skipper' charter to be accompanied by a professional during your sea trip. In the absence of a skipper, a security deposit of €200 is required in cash or by pre-authorisation on a credit card.
Fuel is not included in the charter fee. The cost of consumed fuel will be settled on site upon return.
With the addition of a surcharge, it is possible to use a paid parking space within the marina or in the surrounding area.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
