After discovering canoeing during a summer at the seaside, once back in Valtellina I enrolled in a canoe course and then the discovery of rafting led me to become the youngest FIRAFT Rafting Guide in Italy.

Full description
Spend awhole day on board an e-bike discovering the most beautiful and evocative corners of the Valtellina and experience the spirit of the mountains to the full!
Accompanied by a local guide, you'll pedal along cycle paths immersed in greenery, forest paths and mule tracks up to an altitude of 2,000 metres, conquering a magnificent landscape.
Asport and nature experience that will engage adrenalin junkies with off-road descents, but will also be within reach of the less well-trained, thanks to the possibility of assisted pedalling.
What we will do
We will meet at around 10 a.m. in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. Hand over the e-bikes, and together with the guide we will have a short briefing on the route and the rules of behaviour and safety. After that, we will mount the saddle to set off!
We will cycle along terraced paths surrounded by vineyards and orchards until we reach the Tracciolino, a fascinating route of about ten kilometres that climbs among the rocks, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding peaks.
Our goal will be to reach an altitude of 2,000 metres to refresh ourselves with the specialities of Valtellina cuisine at some farmhouse or traditional mountain hut (lunch is not included in the participation fee and those who wish can have a packed meal).
In the second part of the day, still on board our e-bikes, we will explore several alpine lakes, where we can stop for a moment of relaxation and to take wonderful photos.
On the way back down to the valley, we can unleash ourselves on some downhill sections or follow less steep routes, but no less exciting in terms of environment and scenery.
In total, we will cover around 70 km and 1,000 m of altitude difference, but don't worry, if tiredness sets in, we will be helped by pedal assistance!
The activity lasts 7 hours and we will return to the starting point at around 17:00. The route may vary according to the participants' average level and preferences, subject to the guide's approval.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of medium level and requires no special skills other than good physical fitness and the stamina to sustain a 7-hour mountain bike tour. In any case, assisted pedalling will help the less fit. Children with aminimum height of 130 cm can also participate.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
Important: You will need to pay a €100 deposit per bike by card or cash before starting the excursion.
This activity can be booked from mid-March to September on the dates indicated in the calendar (updated), subject to weather conditions and the availability of guides and e-bikes.
Any changes to the itiner ary must be approved by the guide, who, at his or her sole discretion, may alter the route programme according to the level of the group.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
