Flying a paraglider is an incredible experience that can give you unique sensations of absolute freedom and lightness. And thanks to the tandem, it is within everyone's reach.
In the company of a professional pilot , you will take off from thePizzorne Plateau and fly for 20 minutes over the city of Lucca and the Monti Pisani, enjoying the splendid panorama.
This is the ideal activity to share a special experience with someone and fly simultaneously: two paragliders and two pilots (or more) for fun to the nth degree!
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time near Lucca. Here we will meet the pilot and, with the means provided by the organisation, we will move to the take-off area about 45 minutes away, thePizzorne Plateau. Once there, we will begin preparation for the flight.
We will conduct a briefing on the activity and the rules of behaviour in all phases of the flight. We will also do some simulations and all the routine checks. After that, we will settle into our harnesses and be ready to take off. The instructions will be simple and easy to follow: just a short run-up with the pilot and, in no time, we will be flying!
During the 15-20 minutes of flight we will be able to take photos and videos, but above all we will be able to admire the splendid panorama over the city of Lucca and the Monti Pisani. We will also be able to ask the pilot to try driving the paraglider, performing simple flight manoeuvres.
The descent towards the ground will be slow and gradual, until the soft landing, which will take place in the same area as the meeting point. The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
This activity gives the possibility of flying simultaneously with 2 or more people. In this way, we can share this unique experience with our friends or loved ones!
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. No special physical skills or flying knowledge are needed: the passenger's task is easy and natural, all you need is a little courage, to be in good health and to be able to take a short jog. You can participate from the age of 14 and weighing between 45 and 110 kg.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
It is advisable to eat meals a few hours before the start of the activity, and it is forbidden to consume alcohol and/or drugs before the flight.
You can reach the take-off point with your own car or request a shuttle transfer at an extra charge of €10.00 per person (to be paid on site).
Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly dependent on weather conditions. Contact the pilot the day before the activity to receive confirmation of the time and meeting point (you will receive his contact details after booking). Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be carried out at another flying area nearby or postponed to a new date.
In paragliding, it is not possible to suffer from vertigo. However, it is possible to abort the flight at any time and descend to the landing comfortably within a few minutes.
Upon request, you can request a video of the experience from the pilot for €20 (via link) or €30 (via a mini SD card delivered on site).
