Full description
Spend a day in an inflatable boat with a skipper in the protected natural area of the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Numerous swimming stops are planned during the navigation, in the sea of the Monte Cofano and Scopello Reserves. Don't miss a snorkelling session in the area of Cala Buguto, on whose seabed you can see the statue of the Madonna of Custonaci!
A day on and in the water; clearly our favourite element!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 09:30 at the meeting point communicated at the time of booking, in Pizzolungo (TP). You will find me on board my dinghy, ready to welcome you!
Once all the passengers have finished boarding, we will set sail at 10:00 am. During this first phase of the trip, we will admire the historic Tonnara di Bonagia (Bonagia tuna fishery), before heading towards the Riserva di Monte Cofano (Mount Cofano Reserve ) for a first swim in this irresistible sea. We will pass by the Saracen Tower on the way to the Zingaro Nature Reserve where we will stop in one of the many coves for a dip in this protected natural area.
We will then resume sailing towards Scopello: how could we not stop here too, to swim in the scenic setting of the Faraglioni rocks with the village in the background! And then off to San Vito Lo Capo, where we will dock: we will have 1.5 hours to visit the fishing village and have lunch.
Our next stops will be Makari and the Bay of Santa Margherita, where we will stop for yet another swim. And one last dive will be waiting for us in the Cala Buguto area: we recommend taking advantage of thesnorkelling equipment provided on board and swimming in search of the statue of the Madonna of Custonaci, which is 13 m deep!
We will return to the meeting point at around 18:00. The navigation lasts 8 hours; the experience lasts a total of 8 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge; please contact us to confirm their attendance.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The boat is a dinghy equipped with an awning for shelter from the sun, a mini-bar, showers and USB sockets.
A free shuttle service is available from Trapani to the meeting point; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request a pick-up.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
