Full description

Discover the wonderful landscapes of the Maremma with aquad bike excursion and spend half a day immersed in the Tuscan countryside, among hills, woods, crops and villages. An activity for all nature and motor lovers.

Accompanied by a local environmental guide, you will discover an area full of surprises, located in the Colline Metallifere (Metal-bearing Hills) area, famous for the mining activity that took place until a few decades ago and of which ample traces still remain.

On board the quad bike you will visit villages and historic hamlets, each with its own particularities that the guide will know how to explain to you. It will be an all-round excursion, full of discovery and fun!

What we will do

We will meet at a farm near Montieri, a municipality in the province of Grosseto, in the heart of theAlta Maremma. We will meet the environmental guide who will first put us at ease by offering us a coffee and showing us around his magnificent estate. Then we will have a briefing on the use of the quads and safety regulations, a test drive, and off we go on our excursion in the Maremma.

We will use automatic two-seater Polaris Trail Boss 330E quads, which guarantee stability, safety, and minimal environmental impact. We will follow a loop route, which may vary according to circumstances, but will always be complete and varied. It will give us the opportunity to discover the many sides of the terrain and to experience riding on different terrains, such as forests, streams, dirt tracks and dirt roads.

There will also be passing through characteristic villages, such as Gerfalco or Travale, where you can stop for an aperitif or lunch and taste the excellent local gastronomic products (food and drinks are not included in the participation fee).

The activity lasts about 3 hours and takes place in a peaceful manner, without promoting competition of any kind or excessive speed that would jeopardise the safety of participants.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level. No previous experience is required to drive the quad bike and you must have a B licence.
