You've never experienced Sardinia like this! Immerse yourself in the nature and traditions of the Lanaitto Valley, between Oliena and Dorgali, with a 3-hour horseback ride.
Ride past springs, caves and breathtaking viewpoints to Su Pinnettu, an ancient shepherds' house where you can stop for a typical Sardinian aperitif.

What we will do
The rendezvous is at the meeting point in Oliena (NU), 10 minutes before the time chosen when booking.
We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide with the horses already saddled and ready to go. Before starting the ride, we will have a 5-10 minute briefing in which the guide will explain how to interact with our horse and how to give the main commands.
The excursion will start from the Su Gologone spring square: in the saddle we will venture along the trails of the Valle di Lanaitto, an area of wild beauty in the Sardinian hinterland between Oliena and Dorgali.
We will ride at the pass on mostly flat roads with slight differences in altitude, reaching the Grotta Rifugio di Oliena and then an ancient lime kiln in the wilderness. We will ride as far as the viewpoint called Roccia Bianca (White Rock ) and along the bank of the Cedrino river, which crosses the valley.
A tree-lined avenue will finally take us to Su Pinnettu, an ancient shepherds' house where we can dismount our horses and stop for a visit. After discovering the history of this fascinating place, we will recharge our batteries with an aperitif of typical Sardinian products such as salami, cheese, bread, with water and wine.
At the end of the aperitif we will get back on horseback to return to the starting point after 3 hours of activity.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 4 years of age and up.
Minors will be accompanied by a guide on foot; therefore, a maximum of 4 minors are allowed per activity.
Horse ridingexperience is not required.
The maximum permitted weight is 100 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.
The mount used is the English mount .
