Full description
Enjoy a full-dayexpert horse riding excursion in the unspoilt nature of the Po Valley.
Starting from Paesana, in the province of Cuneo, you will ride through spectacular flat countryside and centuries-old forests at the foot of Monviso, where the river Po flows. An equestrian guide will lead you to discover unique landscapes that will immediately captivate you.
You will also enjoy a lunch with typical Piedmontese products, for a moment of pure conviviality.
What we will do
The appointment is at 10 a.m. at the riding school in Paesana, in the province of Cuneo. Here, an equestrian guide will welcome us and introduce us to our travelling companions, some wonderful trained horses.
After a short briefing on the activity and a review of the main riding techniques, we will don thenecessary equipment and finally set off on our full-day horse riding excursion.
We will ride along quiet, unpaved paths, surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the Po Valley. We will cross centuries-old forests and green countryside, in the beautiful setting of Monviso and, if we are lucky, we may even spot some wild animals, such as eagles, foxes, marmots and roe deer.
During the entire excursion, we will be accompanied by the equestrian guide for our safety and that of the horses.
About halfway along the route, we will make a stop at a farmstead or restaurant in the area, where we can enjoy a typical Piedmontese lunch in the company of others. Lunch - excluded from the participation fee - will cost an average of €15, as we will go to affiliated establishments.
The excursion will end with the return to the riding stables at around 15.00/16.00 pm.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at expert level. You can participate from the age of 14 and must demonstrate technical experience on horseback.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Theitinerary is subject to change: the equestrian guides will assess the best route based on the weather report and trail conditions to provide the best possible experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
