Our horseback ride in Fagnano Castello is the right opportunity: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the stunning mountainous terrain of the province of Cosenza. You will cross nature reserves, ford a river and collect seasonal chestnuts.
A 1-hour experience for an authentic discovery of the territory!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Fagnano Castello (CS). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle up. The guide will not fail to provide us with the basics of horse riding and all the information we need for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the mountainous terrain of the province of Cosenza, penetrating a nature reserve dotted with oak, beech and chestnut trees; during the season, we will stop to collect chestnuts! If the volume of water permits, we will ford the Fullone river. The guide will lead the group on horseback, providing constant support.
We will then return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 7 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The experience requires a maximum weight of 110 kg.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.
