Imagine riding while a falcon flies in the sky above you.
This movie scene is soon reality by taking part in our horseback ride together with the hawks: in the company of an equestrian guide and falconer, you will venture into the Ligurian hinterland to discover the natural and animal heritage.
A 3-hour experience to reconnect with nature and animals!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Taggia (IM). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will receive our equipment and proceed to saddle up. The guide will not fail to teach us the basics of horse riding, although we will receive constant support on horseback and on the ground during the ride. We will also be introduced to our adventure companions, the falcons, who will fly above us during the walk, trained by the riding guide and falconer. This first moment will last about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture along dirt tracks and ancient bridle paths, immersed in the characteristic Ligurian vegetation that consists mainly of pine trees and chestnut groves. We will also learn about the area's wildlife heritage, reaching the Sanctuary of the Rapacious, home to endangered species. During the walk, we will also admire falcons flying in the sky above us!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
A weight of less than 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience takes place from October to April and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
