Full description

Immerse yourself in Umbrian nature, stroll among the hills, vineyards and oak woods, and enjoy a horseback ride in the company of a local riding guide.

Discover the colours and flavours of an area rich in surprises and traditions: one of the many agritourisms in the area is waiting to let you taste the specialities of Umbrian cuisine and products from the surrounding countryside.

What are you waiting for then? Get ready to combine relaxation, fun, nature and taste by participating in an experience that will engage all the senses!

What we will do

The appointment is at 11 a.m. at the San Biagio della Valle stables, a few kilometres from Perugia. We will first familiarise ourselves with the horses. Equestrian guides will teach us how best to approach them and then instruct us in the fundamental techniques for riding (particularly useful for those who have never ridden a horse).

Our ride will take us along quiet country roads surrounded by vineyards and cultivated fields, and along dirt tracks through the woods, in close contact with the lush Umbrian nature.

After about an hour's ride we will arrive at one of the many typical agritourisms in the area, where a tasty lunch based on local products will be waiting for us.

After eating, we will get back in the saddle to enjoy another hour of horseback riding, ending with a return to the stables. In total, the activity will last about 4 hours.
