Enjoy a horseback ride in Lurisia and explore the magnificent snow-covered trails in the area with an equestrian environmental guide.
Free your mind and live a totally relaxing experience in contact with nature in the suggestive winter landscapes of the Ligurian Alps. Experience the unique emotion of a ride in the snow!
Is this your first time on horseback? No problem, the guides will teach you how to approach your new friend in the best possible way!
What we will do
The horseback ride will begin at the riding school in Lurisia, a hamlet of Roccaforte Mondovì (CN), known for its spa.
Equestrian guides will familiarise us with the horses and teach (or refresh) us the basic commands and techniques for riding. When we are ready, we will set off through coniferous forests and nature trails made even more impressive by the blanket of snow.
We will be totally immersed in the silence and peace of nature and, accompanied only by the sound of the horses' hooves in the snow, we will spend 1 hour discovering an area full of surprises!
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 14 years old and up. No previous experience on horseback is required.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The activity can be carried out from December to March and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
This activity can only be carried out under optimal snow and weather conditions, as frozen ground is a risk factor for the safety of participants and horses. In the event of unfavourable conditions, you will be warned by your guide a few days before the activity.
The activity also takes place in the absence of snow.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
