1 hour and a half horse riding in Chianti

Want to keep up with your galloping desire for an outdoor adventure?

Come to the province of Florence for a 1.5-hour horseback ride through the wonders of Chianti!

Among woods, vineyards and countryside, you will rediscover contact with nature while riding your steed.

What we will do

The meeting will take place in Montespertoli (FI), 20 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.

Awaiting us will be our equestrian guide, who will make us complete the registration procedures in order to carry out the walk. Before starting, the guide will assess our level of experience, in order to personalise the activity and make it accessible and safe for all of us, and will give us a few practice rides in the stable rectangle.

At this point, we will be ready to set off: we will ride around the stables, on a mostly flat loop route that will take us past vineyards, olive groves and breathtaking views.

During the ride, the guide will describe and tell us interesting facts about the places we will encounter on the way: how high up we will be, what plants and wonders will surround us. We will also pass by a reserve that provides shelter for wild animals, where we will be able to spot roe deer, red deer and wild boar.

For the duration of the activity we will proceed at a leisurely pace, unless our level is suitable for raising the bar and moving up to a more sustained pace. The guide will follow us on horseback.

After passing through the beautiful Chianti vineyards surrounding the riding school, we will conclude our ride. Those who have chosen theexcursion in the latter part of the afternoon will be able to admire a wonderful sunset over the Chianti hills and end the experience on a high note with a glass of wine on offer.

The activity will last a total of 1 .5 hours, of which approximately 1 hour will be spent on horseback.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from 14 years of age. Minors may participate independently by presenting a signed release form.

Other information

The activity is available every day, all year round.

Participants will be entrusted with a pony or horse depending on theirage: let the organisers know in advance so they can prepare the animal before your arrival.

The type of riding is English style.

Leashed dogs are allowed at the riding school.

Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables; there are toilets and a refreshment point on site.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site, at the end of a 500-metre dirt track.
