Full description
If you're a kitesurfer, you know that light wind days make sailing difficult. But today, thanks to the use of thehydrofoil, you can overcome all limitations and enjoy speeding across the water even in light winds.
The hydrofoil board, thanks to its special 'fin', allows you to sail above the surface of the water, greatly reducing friction, increasing speed and giving you the feeling of flying through the waves.
With a hydrofoil session on Lake Garda you can experience this new way of surfing and try out for yourself what seems to be the new frontier of kiteboarding!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is the port of Tignale, on the Brescia side of Lake Garda. You will meet the instructor who will hand you the hydrofoil board and provide you with the main notions for using it. After that, you will reach by dinghy the spot on the lake with the best winds for the activity. The instructor will help you get started and follow you as you experiment with the new kitefoil feel.
If this is your first time withhydrofoil, it is likely to take you a while to learn how to balance your weight well so that the fin does not come out of the water and to avoid falls. But once you get the hang of it, sailing will be smooth and fast.
Thehydrofoil is the next step up from traditional kitesurfing. Born with the aim of helping kiters on days with little wind, it is now increasingly used for its greater speed, regardless of wind conditions. It is therefore reserved for experienced kiters.
Hydrofoil is not recommended for those without good sail and board control and good sailing technique, even with directional boards.
The total duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an advanced level and is reserved for those who already have a good sailing technique and mastery of kiteboarding.
Other information
Important: the participation fee includes hydrofoil board hire and lift service with instructor. The kite is not included. You can use your own or rent one at the centre.
This activity is available from June to October. In July, August and September it can be booked every day. At other times, only at weekends.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
