Full description
Do you want to challenge nature and yourself? Do you want to experience the highest level of adrenalin that a river sport can give you?
A hydrospeed descent on the Dora Baltea in Valle d'Aosta is the experience for you. You will face the rapids and the waves of the river with the sole help of the fins and thehydro, a water bob to manoeuvre to disentangle yourself from all the obstacles that nature will put in your way.
Let yourself be carried away by the current, for a day of sport and nature.
What we will do
We will meet at 9 a.m. in Aymavilles, in the province of Aosta. After the welcome, we will begin with some theory. The instructors will explain the fundamentals ofhydrospeed: how to move, how to tackle the river and, above all, how to ride the hydro in total safety.
In the test pond we will begin to put into practice the teachings received, while waiting for the real 'plunge' along the Dora Baltea. Before we plunge headlong, a last look at the equipment and then... splash!
In the stretch of river that we will face in this hydrospeed descent, we will try to stay in single file, following the guide's routes and movements, facing waves and rapids for an adrenalin-filled and fun challenge with ourselves.
We will be constantly underwater, for a fusion with our surroundings impossible to find in other water activities.
With our arms and torso we will guide the hydro, while our legs will give us the propulsion to move agilely in the current.
As this is a descent for beginners and novices, the portion of the river we will approach will be selected according to the level of those who are tackling the discipline for the first time.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is also aimed at those who have never tried hydrospeed. The minimum age to participate is 16.
