I have always loved water, I consider it my element. I have been practising river sports since I was 14 years old. After discovering canoeing during a summer at the seaside, once back in Valtellina I enrolled in a canoe course and then the discovery of rafting led me to become the youngest FIRAFT Rafting Guide in Italy.

You have already experienced the thrills of a and now you want to raise the bar and experience even greater adrenalin rushes? even stronger?
This hydrospeed descent on the Adda river in Valtellina will push you to push your limits, aim for a new goal and experience the emotions of a course designed for the most experienced athletes, with a literally 'extreme' intensity.
What are you waiting for? Put on your wetsuit, grab your river bob and dive into the rapids of the river to test yourself and become a truehydrospeed master!
What we will do
We will meet in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio, in the heart of Valtellina, just a few steps away from the river Adda, which will be the 'theatre' of this adventure that promises to be full of excitement and fun.
Before we dive into the water, we will get to know one of the centre's instructors, who will explain in a short theoretical lesson all the secrets of the route we are going to face, its peculiarities, and everything we need to know to perform the descent in the best possible way and in complete safety.
Having donned our wetsuit, helmet, fins and buoyancy jacket, we will grab our river bobsleigh, ready to launch ourselves into this fast, intense and technical descent. The long stretch of rapids that we will be approaching will test tenacity and physical strength and will be a real adrenalin rush!
Under the watchful eye of the instructor who will follow us in the kayak, we will tackle the obstacles and challenges of the river one after the other, arriving at the bottom with the knowledge that water is our element and that this test is also successfully passed!
The activity lasts a total of 2.5 hours, of which about 1.5 hours in the water.
Who it is aimed at
Due to the particularly intense nature of the stretch of river to be tackled, this activity is designed for those who already have hydrospeed experience and have good swimming skills. Participation is possible from the age of 18.
Other information
Attention. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity can be booked from April to September on the dates indicated in the calendar (updated), subject to weather and environmental conditions. In low season, the activity is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants (if you don't reach this number, you may be joined to another group, subject to availability).
The activity may be subject to change depending on the river's hydrometric flow rate, at the instructors' sole discretion.
Showers and changing rooms are available at the sports centre.
On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local winery at a cost of €10 per person (payable locally).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
