How to turn the summer around? By taking the reins or, rather, the controls of the dinghy! Hire a rubber d inghy in the province of Trapani and set off on a half or full day of sailing in the magnificent Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Follow the contours of the coastline so as not to miss any of the beautiful caves and coves, visit them and explore the waters that wash them with a little snorkelling. Or, if you prefer, go as far as San Vito lo Capo to admire one of the best beaches in Italy.
You will move at your own pace and preference and make precious memories!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Castellammare del Golfo (TP), where the organisers of the activity will be waiting for us. They will give us the keys to the dinghy, a Mistral - VR 640 with a 40 HP engine, and explain how to drive it in a 10-minute briefing. They will also show us a map of the area and give us some valuable advice on possible routes to follow. At that point we will be ready to set off on our adventure, which will last half a day or a full day depending on the option chosen at the time of booking.
We will draw up the day's programme and decide which stretches of coastline between Castellammare del Golfo and San Vito lo Capo to visit. The Zingaro Nature Reserve hosts many characteristic coves near which to stop for a swim and some snorkelling, including Cala Fossa dello Stinco, Cala Bianca, Cala del Varo, Cala Berretta and Cala dell'Uzzo.
Equally fascinating are the caves that grace the coast, including the Grotta della Vucciria, the Grotta Azzurra, the Grotta dei Colombi and the Grotta degli Innamorati. The latter, in particular, is known because it is named after two identical rocks that stand next to each other like two lovers.
If we wish, we can stop at each of these stops to bathe and swim in turquoise waters that will enchant us. Or we can stay on board and relax, sunbathing and admiring the view. The more daring among us can go as far as San Vito lo Capo, a small seaside resort famous for its beach that is considered one of the best in Italy.
The possibilities are truly endless and the lack of constraints will allow us to plan and live theperfect experience for us!

The activity is available every day from the beginning of May to the end of October.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and there is parking available nearby.
The boat is the Mistral - VR 640 rubber dinghy with a 40 HP engine and a maximum capacity of 8 persons, equipped with awning, sundeck, climbing ladder, USB socket, stereo system and snorkelling kit. It is necessary to remain barefoot on board.
Pleasenote: the price of fuel is not included in the fee and will be settled on site and in cash at the end of the experience.
It is possible to request a skipper (optional) by contacting the organisers at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail and paying a surcharge of € 50 for a half-day and € 100 for a full day.
Dogs are allowed on board.
