Walk the trails of the Gran Paradiso National Park and discover the secrets of one of Italy's most important nature reserves.
Follow the guide and listen to stories and information about the surrounding environment, but sharpen your eyes because you may spot ibexes, chamois and many other forest animals.
Starting from Valsavarenche , you will follow the path of King Victor Emmanuel II's hunting parties and pass through the ruins of ancient villages.
Unspoilt nature, its unmistakable sounds and scents will accompany you throughout the hike.
What we will do
The meeting point is Pont in Valsavarenche (AO ) where we will meet our guide. Once the group is formed, there will be a short briefing on the route and safety rules, after which we can set off on our walk.
We will follow theancient route followed by King Victor Emmanuel II during his hunting parties. Along thenature trail we will encounter ibexes, chamois and other animals that populate the reserve.
The environmental guide will let us observe the different varieties of plants, describe the characteristics of the place and tell us curiosities and anecdotes about the area, including the king's hunting habits.
The route involves a moderate difference in altitude, but is suitable for everyone for a peaceful excursion and discovery of the environment. The duration of the activity is about 4 hours and will end with the return to the starting point.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up.

This activity can be carried out from April to November, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
