Excursion and night on a sailing boat in the province of Ravenna

Ready to set sail and plough the waters of this new adventure?

In the province of Ravenna you can spend a night on a sailing boat, watch the sun set while enjoying an aperitif and fall asleep lulled by the waves. But that's not all: during the day you will sail along the Adriatic coast and, if you wish, the skipper will teach you all the secrets of sailing.

How does that sound? To us it sounds like the perfect plan for anunforgettable experience!

What we will do

The appointment is at 9:00 a.m. in Marina di Ravenna (RA), one hour before departure. You will be met there by the skipper who, after an initial welcome, will proceed with check -in. After boarding the boat, at 10:00 a.m. you will be ready to leave for your sailing experience!

You will sail with thewind and have the entire boat at your disposal to do what you want. You can relax, sunbathe and take advantage of all the comforts on offer. Or you can ask the skipper to teach you how to drive a sailing boat. You will learn how to steer, how to anchor and un-anchor the boat, how to open, close and trim the sails, and try out all the manoeuvres known to experienced sailors. In short, this will not be a real course, but an unmissable opportunity to get closer to the world of sailing!

You will follow the contours of the Adriatic coastline, admire the view and breathe fresh, salty air. After a morning spent on the move, you will stop to enjoy lunch at anchor (not included). The stop will last about two hours and will give you the opportunity to cook whatever you like directly on board the boat. In addition, you can take the opportunity to take a dip and cool off with a swim in the sea!

Afterwards, you will decide together with the skipper and the other guests whether to continue the stopover or leave for a final sail. Regardless of which alternative you choose, you will have the chance to admire the beauty of the sunset while enjoying an aperitif (included) of prosecco and savoury snacks. Then, depending on the weather, the skipper will decide whether you will dine on board the boat (service excluded) and spend the night offshore or whether you will return ashore for dinner (excluded) and then sleep moored in the harbour. Either way, it will be a unique night, allowing you to fall asleep lulled by the gentle waves of the sea.

In the morning you will have a wonderful awakening in the middle of the sea and, once you have had breakfast (included), you can start sailing again, exploring the opposite side of the coast from the previous day. After a last lunch on board (not included) and a few more stops for a dip in the sea, you will return to port at around 17:00, satisfied and happy with the incredible experience.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 5 and up. Children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.

The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.

The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

Other information

The activity is available from April to October and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 3 participants. Check-in will be at 10 a.m. and check-out at 5 p.m. the following day.

Theboat on which the activity will take place is a 14-metre sailboat, with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers (excluding crew), 2 bathrooms with shower (shared), teak deck, large cockpit with cushions, awning for the sun, extendable table, solar panels for electric autonomy, spacious dinette with sofa and table, kitchen equipped with cooker, oven and fridge.

On board there are 2 cabins with a double bed and 1 cabin with a bunk bed and hot water, wi-fi and USB sockets. The use of other types of sockets is only possible when in port. In addition, the boat is equipped with all safety equipment. You must remain barefoot on board or wear trainers with clean soles.

All meals, with the exception of an aperitif and breakfast, are excluded from the participation fee. Participants may bring the necessary products for cooking on board. Products such as biscuits, milk, juice or the like will be available for breakfast. If you want anything else, you will need to bring it with you on board. Regarding luggage, hard bags/suitcases are not allowed on board because they cannot be stowed in the hold, unless they are small beauty cases.

Dogs are not allowed on board.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available nearby.
