3-hour private boat excursion along the coast of Maratea

If boat trips are a passion of yours, you cannot miss the opportunity to take one on a private boat along the coast of Maratea. Over the course of 3 hours you will visit caves, bays, inlets, snorkel and discover the wonders of the seabed.

And if all this is not enough, you can choose the entire itinerary! You will sail4 nautical miles along the north or south coast, you can decide whether to stop ashore or in the water, whether to visit the Falesia di Acquafredda or the Grotta delle Monache, Santo Janni Island or Matrella Island.

What we will do

The excursion will depart from the marina of Maratea at the time chosen during the booking process. Here, I will be waiting for you on board my boat to take you on this beautiful "Tour of the Nostromo", an experience tailor-made for you and your travelling companions.

On board, you will have the opportunity to fully customise your itinerary. You will receive an interactive digital map that will allow each participant to view the coastal area and choose the places to visit.

Depending on the requests of the group, we will be able to make two types of stops: 'Swim stops', i.e. 30-minute swimming and snorkelling stops in beautiful coastal caves and coves, or 'Archeo stops', snorkelling experiences with an underwater archaeologist in search of underwater structures or at local historical-archaeological ruins.

During our tour we will have time for 3 stops to choose from:

• "Swim stop": Secca della Giumenta, Secca di Castrocucco, Falesia di Acquafredda, Baia di Venere, Grotta Azzurra, Grotta Delle Monache, Grotta della Sciabella;
• "Archeo stop": Santo Janni Island, Calicastro, La Secca, Punta Caina, Matrella Island.

It will be anincredible adventure between history and nature that will let us discover the best the Basilicata coast has to offer.

At the end of our excursion we will return to the port of Maratea. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The excursion is open to everyone, without age limits. There is no special requirement to take part in the activity.

Other information

The activity is available daily, from April to November, and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 participants.

The vehicle provided is aboat with a 100% electric motor and two Euro 6 combustion engines for support. It is 8 metres long and is equipped with all comforts: a large awning, a shower with fresh water, a fridge for those who wish to bring food and drinks on board, and a toilet.

Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board .

It is possible to request some additional services such as: an aperitif with typical Lucanian products (30€ per person), fishing experience (50€ per person), underwater electric scooter rental (30€ per person), purchase of a new snorkel on board (5€), and test use of scuba tanks (100€ for the whole boat).
