Full description
Set off on aboat excursion along the Polignano a Mare coastline towards Monopoli: an exclusive experience during which you can enjoy some relaxation and refreshing swims in the crystal-clear waters.
You will discover many caves that open up along the coast on board a private gozzo, entering the most beautiful and evocative caves, such as the Grotta degli Innamorati and the Grotta delle Rondinelle.
It will be a walk along the sea, during which you will be able to stop for a swim and discover wonderful natural views. You just have to choose whether to spend 2, 3 or 4 hours at sea!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the time agreed at the time of booking in Polignano a Mare, one of the pearls of Apulia's Adriatic coastline. Here I, your skipper, will be waiting for you on board the private gozzo. Once you are seated on board, we will cast off the moorings and depart.
After a few minutes of sailing we will already begin to encounter the first caves. We will sail close to the coast to be able to admire them up close and in some of them we will also be able to enter.
We will be able to enter the wonderful Grotta delle Rondinelle and the Grotta degli Innamorati, also known as Grotta Stampagnata, to admire the wonderful play of light created by the sun's rays reflecting off the water.
We will also reach Grotta Palazzese, where you cannot miss a relaxing bath in front of the majestic cavity, the largest in Polignano.
Another natural attraction we absolutely cannot miss is the Scoglio dell'Eremita, or Isolotto di San Paolo, where we will be able to spot a few flocks of Corsican Seagulls with their red coral beaks.
During the tour you will also be able to enjoy a delicious aperitif of tarallini, focaccine and mozzarelline to accompany a glass of prosecco.
The tour will end after 2, 3 or 4 hours of sailing, depending on the duration chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge and do not count as a berth.
The boat is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The tour is available every day from March to November, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The boat available for the tour is a vintage Bisciù gozzo, from the Milano Aprea shipyards, 9.80 m long, built with precious woods and equipped with a sun canopy and freshwater shower. There is no toilet on board.
Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
It is possible to bring food and drinks on board. In the event of any needs, food intolerances or allergies, please contact the guide at the contact details you will find in your booking confirmation e-mail to request changes to the aperitif.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
