Full description
Sangiovese, Chianti Vinsanto, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. All Tuscan excellence packed into a single experience!
Or rather, all preserved at the Bellavista Farm in Casignano. A guide is waiting to accompany you to discover the production of wine and oil, visiting the artisanal wine cellar and the historic orciaia.
A 2-hour experience, ending with a tasting of the best labels and typical products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Fattoria Bellavista di Casignano in Scandicci (FI). We will be welcomed by a guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this winery in the heart of the Tuscan hills!
Once all the participants have gathered, the experience will begin outside with a walk through the vineyard: in this splendid setting, the guide will talk about viticulture, the organic cultivation method, the Chianti wine regulations and other interesting notions. We will then arrive in the olive grove, where we will learn more about the history of olive growing and oil production.
Next, we will move inside for a visit to the cellar: we will walk among concrete tanks and wooden barrels, discovering the techniques of wine making and ageing; here we will have the privilege of tasting a wine directly from the barrique! We will continue by visiting the orciaia, a place where oil is stored in characteristic terracotta containers. And finally we will land in the vinsantaia, where we will unveil the secrets of Chianti Vinsanto.
And now comes the eagerly awaited tasting time: the guide will serve and describe four glasses of wine accompanied by typical local products such as cold meats, cheeses, crostini dressed with home-produced extra virgin olive oil and other delicacies.
The wines to be tasted will be:
- Villa di Sotto Rosato Toscano IGT
- Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG
- Poggio Fecondo Rosso Toscano IGT
- Chianti Vinsanto DOC
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying minors (aged 7 to 17) paying the reduced rate will be served bruschetta topped with home-produced extra virgin olive oil accompanied by a non-alcoholic beverage; children aged 0 to 6 years participate free of charge.
The experience is not wheelchair and/or pushchair accessible.

Attention! In the event of bad weather, the experience will only take place indoors.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
