Full description

A whole day spent amidst the roar of engines and the splendid views of the Alto Garda Bresciano regional park. An immersion in history and nature in the saddle of the grittiest and most fun four-wheeled vehicle there is!

On board the 4x4 quad bike you will cross the same paths that, over 100 years ago, were trodden by soldiers of the First World War. You will experience the thrill of entering a chapter of Italian history, and at the same time feel theadrenalin rush that only off-road driving can give you!

A mix of emotions that will make this experience truly unforgettable! Your travelling companion will be a 330cc Polaris Trail Boss quad bike with continuously variable automatic transmission and handlebar brakes, easy to drive and capable of offering excellent performance even to an experienced driver.

What we will do

The meeting point is the excursion centre in Sabbio Chiese, less than an hour from Brescia and halfway between Lake Garda and Lake Idro. Before the start, a qualified CONI instructor (who will act as guide) will introduce the group to the activity with a short briefing, during which the itinerary will be explained as well as the rules of conduct to be maintained during the tour, to ensure maximum safety for all participants.

The route will have a total length of about 100 km and will be mainly on dirt tracks, paths and ancient mule tracks, with very few stretches of asphalt. The rather technical nature of the route makes this tour suitable only for those who are already familiar with quad biking.

We cross the same roads trodden on foot by our soldiers during the Great War, on fascinating routes until we reach the 1,400 m altitude of the Monte Stino refuge. This destination offers a breathtaking view of Lake Idro, a basin nestled in the mountains halfway between Lake Garda and Lake Iseo, as well as the opportunity to visit authentic trenches dating back to World War I.

We will take advantage of the beauty of the place to stop for lunch. We can eat a packed meal or go to a typical mountain restaurant(32€, at the participant's expense) or have a simple aperitif(10€, at the participant's expense).

After the one-and-a-half hour stop, we will take the return route and, whoever wishes, can swap driving with a passenger, so that everyone can experience the thrill of riding a quad bike.

The duration of the activity is approximately 9 hours, including 6 hours of actual driving.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is of a difficult level, given the length and type of route. It is open to people over the age of 18 with an A or B driving licence, which you will need to show at the start of the tour, and who have previous experience of this kind and are familiar with riding an ATV. The minimum age for non-driving passengers is 12 years.

The total weight of the crew must not exceed 160 kg.

Other information

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.

This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to the availability of instructors, and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 3 booked quads. The fee of 260€ is per quad. One passenger can also travel on each quad bike free of charge. The two can possibly swap driving halfway along the route.

Seven qu ads are available for a total of 14 participants. For groups requiring more than 7 quads, please contact us in private to receive an ad hoc offer.

For groups of 4 to 7 qu ads, an extra fee of €50 (per group) is payable locally for the accompaniment of a second guide.

After booking, the organiser will confirm yourdeparture time, which may vary according to your needs, subject to the availability of the instructors.
