Rafting Family on the Noce River in Val di Sole

Have you ever thought of having aunique experience with the whole family while descending the rapids of a torrent? Rafting is a fun, exciting activity that is suitable for everyone and allows you to be in contact with wonderful nature, that of Val di Sole, in Trentino Alto Adige.

Rafting Family is an adventure to be enjoyed in total safety, under the guidance of expert instructors on a route ideal for children. You will ride the waves of the Noce river, considered by National Geographic to be the best river in Europe for rafting and certainly one of the most loved by fans of this sport.

Get ready to get on the raft and grab your paddle! Our guides are waiting for you to reveal all the secrets of rafting and to let you experience a moment of great excitement and fun, which you will not easily forget, indeed, you will look forward to repeating!

What we will do

We will meet at the rafting centre in Caldes or Dimaro (depending on availability), in the province of Trento. After checking in and handing over theequipment, we will all head together to the boarding point with the bus provided by the centre. Once at the destination, the guides will conduct a brief theoretical-practical lesson on safety and the correct behaviour to adopt during the activity.

After the briefing, off to adventure! We will travel along the Noce river between waves and rapids, all of us taking an active part in guiding the raft with paddles, following the precise commands of the guide who will captain the raft. It will be two hours of pure water fun!

Depending on river levels and navigation conditions, it may be necessary to raft the middle section of the river by approximately 1 km for children aged 6 to 13 years (carried out with the centre's vehicles). The rafting activity is guaranteed even in bad weather: rain or shine the result will always be the same, water a go-go and fun guaranteed!

At the end of the adventure, we will all return together to the rafting centre, where showers and changing rooms are available.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is at an easy level and open to all, but is especially designed for families with children aged 6 and up.

Other information

Attention. It is necessary to arrive at the meeting point approximately 45 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.

The activity is bookable from May to September.

Important: the meeting point could be in Caldes or Dimaro, which are less than 10 minutes' drive apart. Please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for more information about the exact meeting point.

Younger children will not be provided with paddles and, if necessary, will be handed over to our drivers who will accompany them on a transhipment section until they reach their parents' raft again.

The rafting centre is equipped with showers, changing rooms and safes for storing valuables.

Neoprene wetsuits, water jackets and helmets are washed and treated with disinfectant solution after each use.

You can request a photo service at an extra charge of 15€ or a video service with an action cam at an extra charge of 20€ (payable locally).
