Full description
Would you like to visit Verona in a unique and original way? Then this is the activity for you.
From Castelvecchio, you will first set off on an exciting rafting descent on the Adige river, riding the waves in a rubber dinghy, and then on a walk through the streets of the centre, together with a local guide. You will not only see the most famous historical buildings, but you will discover another side of the city of Verona that few people know about.
It will be anunforgettable experience!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 17:00 at the meeting point in Verona, in the Castelvecchio area, and then we will move to the boarding point , which is only a 10-minute walk away. We will be right at the beginning of the historical centre of Verona, a few hundred metres from the Scaliger Castle.
After a short briefing on the activity together with the guides, we will be given life jackets and paddles and get into the dinghies. Now the adventure begins!
On the most picturesque stretch of the Adige river, we will pass under the city's most beautiful bridges and see some of the most important monuments and churches in the historic centre from an unusual perspective, such as the Duomo, Palazzo Canossa and Ponte della Vittoria. There will also be some waves that will make us fly and give us a real adrenalin rush!
Paddling along and listening to the guides' stories, after about 1 hour of navigation (about 4 km of river) we will disembark at the ancient Venetian Customs House. Here a toast with a glass of prosecco and taralli will await us.
After this break, at 19:00 we will set off with our guides on a walking tour of the city. In about an hour we will visit some of the most fascinating places in the historic centre, penetrating the 'less touristy' Verona that only the Veronese know.
The excursion ends at 20:15 at Porta Borsari, a 5-minute walk from the starting point. The activity lasts a total of approximately 3 hours.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
