Are you looking for a way to fully experience Liguria?
Then all you have to do is hire a typical Ligurian gozzo, set sail from Rapallo and venture out into the Gulf of Tigullio in total freedom, taking up to 6 people on board in total.
And you will see, at the end of this half or full day the sea of this region will have no more secrets for you!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rapallo (GE). On your arrival you will find the charterer ready to hand over the boat to you.
The boat is a typical Ligurian gozzo produced in Lavagna, 6.7 m long with a Suzuki 40 ARI engine, equipped with awning, shower, climbing ladder, cushions, Bluetooth stereo, and a cooler to keep food and drinks brought from home cool.
Upon handover, the charterer will show you how to drive the boat and before venturing out into the open sea you can also take a short test drive. For optimal navigation, you will also be given a nautical map in PDF format for easy orientation along the coast.
At this point, you will be ready to set sail for the Gulf of Tigullio: without a licence, you will be able to navigate freely in the area between Sestri Levante and Camogli, choosing the stages of your itinerary independently. We recommend Portofino, Santa Margherita, Cala degli Inglesi and San Fruttuoso, but remember that you will be the captain!
At the end of the charter you will return to the meeting point. The experience will last 4 hours (half day) or 9 hours (full day) depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers .
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
The activity is available from May to October.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Clean boat shoes are allowed on board or you can go barefoot. Small dogs are allowed on board: please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend on board.
An additional skipper service is available at a cost of €100.00 for a half-day and €150.00 for a full day: contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request this service.
