Full description
Sailing, propelled by the force of the wind alone, and managing the currents is what you will learn during this half-day course on Lake Garda.
Accompanied by an instructor in Campione del Garda, you will acquire the basic principles of this fascinating water sport. At the end of the course you will have sufficient knowledge to start sailing independently.
Lessons will take place in small groups of 2-5 people: the perfect opportunity to meet other friends with the same passion as you!
What we will do
The appointment is in Campione del Garda (BS), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
We will be welcomed by a sailing instructor who will follow us throughout the course, which will take place in the afternoon.
Lessons will be held from 14:00 to 17:00 in small groups of 2-5 participants. The backdrop to our course will be the beautiful setting of Lake Garda, along the Brescia shore.
During the lesson we will be taught the basic principles of sailing, how to handle the rudder and the various controls in relation to the strength of the wind. We will make atheoretical introduction ashore, and then we will all board the instructor's boat and start putting into practice what we have learned.
The course will last a total of three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The course is suitable for everyone from the age of 8. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of agility is required to participate, while swimming skills are not necessary.
Other information
The activity is available from 23 March to 10 November, on Saturdays and Sundays.
The course can be booked for a minimum of 2 people.
The venue can be reached by public transport. Free and paid parking spaces are available nearby.
It is also possible to request boarding from piers on the Venetian side of Lake Garda, e.g. from Malcesine. If interested, please contact the organiser after confirmation of your booking.
