Full description
Is scuba diving your great passion? Experience a very special one in Marzamemi that will take you to discover places of incredible beauty.
Accompanied by an experienced instructor , you will dive at some of the best dive spots in the area, such as the Grotta Maltese, the Grotta dei Gamberi and the Fossa di Zeus. In a 4-hour trip, you will discover submerged Roman columns and seabeds full of fascinating sea creatures.
When you book, you can choose between asingle or double dive.
The activity is intended for divers with an Open Water Diver Certificate.
What we will do
The appointment is at the diving centre in Marzamemi at the time selected during the booking process. When we arrive, we will be welcomed by the instructor, who will hand us the necessaryequipment to carry out the dive. We will then have a quick briefing, in which we will go over the rules to be followed underwater.
At this point we will be ready to board the rubber dinghy and reach the dive site. The areas to be explored may be different, depending on requirements and marine weather conditions. We can dive at Grotta Maltese, which will impress us with its clear blue waters, the Grotta dei Gamberi e delle Ossa (Crayfish and Bones Cave), the Fossa di Zeus (Zeus's Pit), the Frenata di Levante (Levant's Frenzy) or the famous submerged Roman columns, dating back to 3rd century AD Greece.
The instructor will dive with us to show us the beautiful seabed at Marzamemi, down to a depth of 18 metres (which varies depending on the licence you hold). Thedive lasts 45 minutes, during which we will be enchanted by starfish and octopuses and many other plant and animal species.
Once back on board, we can either return to the diving centre or head to a new dive site (chosen at the time of booking). The activity lasts a total of 4 hours.

The activity is aimed at all those with an Open Water Diver licence and the minimum age minimum age for participation is 12 years.
Other information
The activity is bookable from April to October, subject to weather and sea conditions, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
