Experience the magic ofSouth Tyrol in the season that most pays homage to this land and its mountains. Immerse yourself in the evocative and silent dimension of snow with a snowshoe hike in Riva di Tures, between the Ahrntal and Pustertal valleys.
Asnowshoe hi ke in the company of an expert guide is the best way to explore the snow-covered paths around the picturesque South Tyrolean village and enjoy the most striking views.
So lace up your boots, put on your cap and gloves and get ready to go!
What we will do
We will meet the guide in Riva di Tures (BZ ) at around 10 am. First we will break the ice over a "little black", the name given to espresso coffee in South Tyrol!
Then we will put on our snowshoes (if we don't have them we can hire them on site for €10), have a short briefing on the route and set off on our hike.
We will follow one of the many enchanting excursion itineraries that lead from the village of Riva di Tures to the surrounding area, through fabulous snow-covered forests and breathtaking alpine views .
Along the way we will encounter an imposing icefall, at which point we will not be able to resist the temptation to get closer for a souvenir photo! We will continue on to the Furth Alm and then return to the valley via a variant route that provides us with new panoramic views.
The activity lasts 3 hours in total and includes a return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is moderately demanding but does not present any particular technical difficulties. You can participate from the age of 10 and up, with a good stamina for walking in the mountains.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes in advance.
This activity takes place every Tuesday from December to March, weather permitting.
Snowshoes are not included in the participation fee and can be hired on site for an extra €10.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are socialised.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
