Full description
Discover the magic of Val di Zoldo, in the province of Belluno, with an unforgettable snowshoe hike!
A 5.5 km loop trail will take you to the Rifugio Ristoro Da Bepi, at an altitude of 1750 m. Enjoy the muffled silence of the snow-covered forests, the panorama of the Dolomites and the pleasure of exploring winter nature in complete safety, in the company of an Alpine Guide.
Val di Zoldo is waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment with the Alpine Guide is at 9.30 a.m. at the meeting point in Mareson, a hamlet of Val di Zoldo (BL). The guide will welcome us and provide us with all the necessary equipment: snowshoes and poles (included). After a brief explanation on the use of the equipment and the route, we will be ready to set off at 10.00 am.
Wewill walk on fresh snow, through snowy paths and fir and larch woods, until we reach the Rifugio Ristoro Da Bepi (Pian del Crep, altitude 1750 m). Here we will face an ascent of 2.5 km with a difference in altitude of about 350 m. The panorama that will accompany us along the way will make every step a pleasure for the eyes!
Once at the refuge, we will take a break to rest and recharge our batteries. We will have the opportunity to taste some typical specialities (not included) and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this place.
After the break, we will resume our walk. We will descend along the opposite slope to the Baita Civetta al casot. The descent will be 3 km through snow-covered roads and silent forests, ending our loop.
Around 2 p.m. we will return to our starting point, after about 4 hours of hiking, including breaks.
