Tandem hang gliding flight over Mount Cucco

You will fly over the Regional Park of Monte Cucco, a protected area of great natural interest, framed by the peaks of theUmbro Apennines and famous for its gorges, canyons and caves carved out by the water of torrents over the centuries.

You will take to the skies in tandem with an experienced pilot, who will take you on an unforgettable journey by exploiting winds and currents. Ready for take-off?

What we will do

We will meet in Sigillo (PG), one of the of the municipalities within the Monte Cucco Regional Park. Here we will meet the pilot and together with him we will move by shuttle to the area where we will take off with the hang-glider.

We will prepare for the flight with an introductory briefing , during which we will be instructed on the operating principles of the hang-glider, on the behaviour to be maintained during the activity, and on all the safety rules to make the most of this experience.

Harnessed and secured to the hang glider and pilot, we will be ready to go. A gentle jog will be enough to be intercepted by the by theupdrafts and taken into the sky to scan the horizon, gazing at an extraordinary panorama. gaze over an extraordinary panorama.

During the glide - which will last from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the wind - we will admire the natural beauty of Monte Cucco from above, in an area beloved by gliding enthusiasts, ranging from the Adriatic coast to Lake Trasimeno, as far as the Monti Sibillini mountains and the Chiascio valley.

Thelanding will take place in the same spot as the take-off. Between transfers, preparation and flight, the activity will last about two hours in total.

Who it is aimed at

Tandem hang gliding is an activity within everyone's reach. It does not specific skills or previous experience are not required, only a good mental and physical condition. The minimum age for participation is 7 years, weighing between 30 and 90 Kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.

The time selected at the time of booking may vary depending on weather conditions. In this case, you will be notified by the pilot the day before the flight.

Simultaneous flying is possible for up to 2 participants.

The participation fee includes a video of the flight, which will be sent directly to your smartphone.
